APTEC DISTRIBUTION FZ LLC -- Sales Manager (channel sales)

Aptec is a I.T Distribution company in DIC Dubai involved in  Distribution of huge I.T brands like H.P,ACER,SYMANTEC,DELL,IBM ,ETC.

Aptec has also been rated as one of the best I.T distribution firm in U.A.E in magazines like VAR and CHANNEL MIDDLE EAST magazine. 

In my tenure here I have been handling products like H.P (PSG), IBM, ACER but however I have been a specialist of ACER and IBM products where in 2008 and 2009 I have handled sales of almost the entire business of ACER which was the major revenue business of APTEC FZLLC with Quarterly targets ranging from 5 to 9 million AED for U.A.E and ‘IRAQ exporters’ present in Dubai .

Just FYI - I was having the highest revenue target in the entire company which shows trust from company’s side with regards to my abilities.

From 2010 Q1 I have been handling IBM business where I have handled regions like Qatar, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain (customers physically present in GCC) and also the strategic partners in UAE.

Yes! We stared low in IBM when Aptec made it the Focus brand for 2010 ,but I am happy to say that NOW we are almost at par with our no.1 competition who has been dominant in market for IBM since decades.

Job Responsibilities and achievements:

Taking responsibility for achieving sales targets on Revenue as well as G.P basis.

Has involvement with regards to management’s decision while placing orders with vendors.

Training new sales staff.

Everyday interaction with different territory managers from the vendor with regards to negotiations and getting the maximum discounts and also locking end user deals that our partners have reached first. 

Taking active involvement in any issues relating to finance, logistics and IT teams and resolving them.

Has been smart in day to Day Business as well as cracking big deals.

Keeps an eye on each business aspect to ensure its smooth conduct with regards to competition’s stocks and price information, competing brands information, etc.

IN case of tenders – Everyday follow up with vendors and making sure  to be most competitive.

Sales Planning (customer by customer) and Purchase planning with that reference.  



Above All - I have justified each of my salary in the places I have worked.

Was Appointed to handle entire channel market sales for Brands - ‘CREATIVE’ and ‘VIEWSONIC’ with maintaining good relationship with clients as well as ensuring smooth business with proper on-time monetary collections.
